purpose: This three session course offers participants an opportunity to find out about the Transylvanian beginnings of Unitarianism, the impact of political changes of the last decade, and the flowering of new relationships between Unitarian Universalists in America, and Transylvanian Unitarians in Romania.  Topics for discussion will include:

                The History of Unitarian Origins in Transylvania in the 1650s++

                The "So-Called Revolution" of 1989-90 and the Role of North American Unitarian

Universalists in Romania's Political Transition.

                Traveling to Transylvania--Tourists and Pilgrims

 

Preliminary plans for a group trip to our Partner Church will be considered. But armchair travelers will also find this course of interest.
