Nongthymmai Church � 300 Unitarians

Nongthymmai is a city church in the capital city of Shillong. Unlike the village churches, it has a certain feeling of affluence. On Sundays, the church is crowded, and a building renovation to expand has been started but is presently on hold because the congregation has run out of money.

This generous church community operates a shopping complex in the city and gives the proceeds to the Unitarian Union for its operating budget.

Reverend Derick Pariot is the minister of Nongthymmai, and he is also Vice President of the Unitarian Union of North East India.
