Dienglieng – 160 Unitarians

Dienglieng is situated in Khasi Hills not far from the villages of Kharang and Pingwait, about two hours from Shillong. Most of the villagers are hard working farmers, and their main crops are rice and potatoes.
They run a small Unitarian lower primary school with 54 students and two teachers. Some students are able to continue their education at the Margaret Barr Unitarian Secondary School in Kharang about 1 mile away. The Dienglieng School is getting some help from the government, and an extended family in the US is helping with school projects.
Reverend Darihun Khriam is their minister, and Player Myrboh is the church visitor.
